Save the Date - 2017 LMCA Rendezvous July 7th-9th

Are you ready for this year's LMCA Rendezvous at Macatawa Bay Yacht Club? We will begin the weekend with the annual Shrimp Boil on Friday. Saturday will include a sailing activity, meals, and seminars along with other activities to be announced. When signing up there will be available an option to order an LMCA fleece blanket embroidered with your boat's name for $38 pictured above measuring 54"x80". There will be more information to come within a few days.

Happy Mother's Day from LMCA (new blog feature)

The Lake Michigan Catalina Accociation would like to wish all the moms out there a very Happy Mother's Day. After speaking to a member at the 2017 Sping Thing, the board decided one of the new features we would like to add is a monthly blog post with different resources available online. These links will be on the website and will be updated as new blogs are released. Our first online resourse seem aproprate for today, Women Who Sailhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/WomenWhoSail/ I know many of you are members of this group but I was surprised by how many more weren't aware of it. The like of Sheyl Shard, Lin Pardey, and Pam wall are active members of Women Who Sail. Thanks for the idea Loisann!

Beef – Mahogany Steak Medallions
hand-cut beef shoulder pan seared medium to medium rare with sweet and spicy Worcestershire reduction, served with garlic and chive mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. Can be cook further by request. 
 
Fish – Parmesan Baked Flounder
parmesan breaded Mediterranean flounder finished with a basil cream sauce, served with wild rice and vegetable medley 
 
Chicken – Grilled Chicken
grilled chicken breast topped with mushroom ragout, served with wild rice and vegetable medley
 
Vegetarian – Stuffed Portobello 
portobello mushroom stuffed with spinach, artichoke, roasted red peppers, boursin and mozzarella cheese, served with wild rice, finished with a brandy mornay
